Exposed Chimney Trim

When we painted this room, the trim that was installed around this exposed brick was not done well, so I decided to just replace it. They drywall in this room was also not done well, but I didn't want to re-sheetrock the whole room. You can see the warped section in the pictures.

I mudded the low section to even it out, retexured, and painted it. It was much easier than trying to scribe the trim piece and still have it look off.

For the trim covering the one side of the brick, I couldn't find anything wide enough outside of brickmold. I decided it would be easier to make a piece for that section. Overall, it turned out pretty well.
